Amara Communications was engaged by Etc Wine Shops to launch Hong Kong's largest collection of Burgundy wines, via their new Burgundy Etc wine shop in the prestigious Central Building.
The wine region of Burgundy is home to hundreds of small-scale growers with limited production. Burgundy Etc aims to decipher such complex choices of high-quality wines by providing access to trained sommeliers who will introduce guests to each winery, reveal the intriguing history of individual Burgundy wines, as well as provide relevant information on the intricacies of terroir, viticulture and wine-making techniques. As part of etc wine shops’ ongoing mission to “endear, tease and cultivate,” burgundy etc hosts year-round events, educating patrons on the sophisticated art of wine tasting and food pairings.
Amara Communications coordinated a socially-distanced launch event which saw the city's top media and wine influencers taste premium pours, in a north to south format, alongside representatives from top wineries. A media impression of over 150 million readers was achieved by Amara Communications, as well as social media exposure to more than 2.5 million users.
