Piin Wine Restaurant
Katherine Amara PR was appointed to launch PIIN Wine Restaurant, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, to the market in early 2019.
PIIN Wine Restaurant is a wine restaurant borne out of a passion for Burgundy wines, by the owners of two of the region’s most impressive domaines — Château de Meursault and Château de Marsannay.
The wine programme features more than 2,000 wines and is intended to make Burgundy wines, often considered the most expensive and prestigious in the world, approachable to all. The programme focuses on older and rare vintages as well as older large format bottles, many of which are available by the glass.
The impressive wine concept is supported by a menu of elevated Cantonese cuisine by former Fook Lam Moon alumni Chef Ming. PIIN’s menu is intended to be enjoyed in a range of tasting plates, which range from small bites to larger format dishes and celebrate texture and authentic Cantonese flavour — ideal partners for PIIN Wine Restaurant’s expertly curated wines.
PIIN Wine Restaurant is located in the thriving H Code development, opposite the newly transformed Tai Kwun heritage project and in the heart of Hong Kong’s arts and culture district. The wine restaurant’s handsome interiors are warm and welcoming, with floor-to-ceiling terrace windows offering a unique al fresco feel. Furnishings and tableware of the highest quality have been hand-sourced from Europe, creating a chic yet laid back environment for any occasion.
A casual bar offers up an enticing view of the restaurant’s extensive wine offering, as well as a selection of premium whiskies.
With approachability at the heart of PIIN Wine Restaurant’s values, regular masterclasses and winemaker dinners will be hosted throughout the year.
